Final Exam Thursday 6/22

The only homework this week is preparing for the final exam.

The exam is on Thursday, June 22. Room locations are room 164 for D block
and room 166 for E block. Arrive by 10:55 a.m. and plan to stay through
1:00 p.m. Confirm beforehand that your calculator is functioning properly.
Bring your textbook to hand in.

Exam format: The exam has two parts, each worth 48 points, half of the
total for the exam. "Part A: Short Answer Questions" has 12 questions
worth 4 points each. "Part B: Written Response Problems" has 7 problems
(some with multiple parts) worth between 4 and 12 points each (depending
on the length of the problem). Directions are the same as for Parts A and
B of the 2005 exam.

Homework due Wednesday 6/14

Put together a set of summary notes for one chapter/unit of the course (as
chosen on the signup sheet during class). Use a single sheet of paper,
front-and-back. Write it in a way that it will be useful to classmates as
well as yourself. These sheets will be collected on Wednesday, and some of
the best will be combined as a study guide to be distributed to the whole
class.
