Class work for Friday 2/17

During class we did the sheet "Polynomial degrees from repeated differences." You are expected to finish the degree-finding part of this sheet (most of you finished or nearly finished during class; finish this if not already done). The regression mentioned on the assignment sheet is optional (you might want to do it to check your answers or to get more practice doing regression).

The test that was snowed out on Monday is rescheduled to Tuesday. This test will cover exponent and logarithm properties, and exponential and logarithmic functions (in the textbook, section 2.2 and all of Chapter 6). See the handout from 2/8 class for more details and review advice.

Homework due Friday 2/10

Problem set: "More applications of exponential and logarithmic functions."
